U.S. stocks trade mixed as Fed decision nears; Amazon surges
U.S. stocks traded mixed Wednesday as a Federal Reserve decision on
interest rates loomed, with Boeing Co. and General Motors Co. weighing
on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, but better-than-expected earnings
from online retailer Amazon.com were boosting the Nasdaq Composite.
