U.S. stocks fall after hotter-than-forecast CPI
NEW YORK -- U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday, after Hewlett-Packard Co.'s
earnings forecasts disappointed investors and as news of
higher-than-expected gains in consumer prices last month fueled concern
about inflation.
