U.S. stock losses intensify on Fed worries about economy
U.S. stocks decline after quarterly earnings disappoint investors and
struggling thrift Washington Mutual Inc. cuts its dividend and draws $7
billion in capital, adding to concerns about financials.

sales contracts on previously owned homes fell 1.9% in February from the
prior month, the National Association of Realtors reported Tuesday.
